The safest way to store flammable liquids is to protect them underground. Thanks to an important investment all the underground double-chamber tanks are equipped with electronic level detectors for continuous monitoring.
To avoid any leakage risk in the subsoil, the tanks have:
- a double chamber: in the cavity between the two shells that compose the tanks, the inert gas is kept at a constant pressure and monitored so that, in case of accidental drilling of the internal or external wall, the alarm triggers to stop any possible leaking
- Remote control 24/7: the underground double-chamber tanks are equipped with electronic level detectors for continuous monitoring by Scada System
